Along Mukogawa River in Nishinomiya city

The Mukogawa river is just a five minutes of walk from my apartment. I go there a few times week. Along the river area is designed for recreational activities. A typical picture I see includes a group of school kids playing baseball, a girl practicing to play flute, a band of old men catching fish, a family of beaver tanning on sun, an organisation holding its annual sports event, ambitious adults jogging and myself attempting some jog or push-ups while enjoying watch others.

Mukogawa river may have nice biodiversity, and generates from beautiful tributaries. I found this web very useful to have a good of this river, even it is in Japanese, you will sure enjoy it. Click the webpage. I like historic pictures featuring changes in human settlements along river and more photos of species inhabiting in the area. Unlike its source, the river part near my place looks completely artificial. There is no natural river stone, it is water channeled through a neat shaped cement lines. River bank is also cemented hard. So, does it look clean - yes; however, I miss seeing a real river with earth, mud, earth bank and all complete!
Also, I attach a few of pictures I took from Mukogawa river in Nishinomiya.
